How to love the ICEBREAKER? Follow these steps after it has frozen for 6-8 hours
1. PUSH & FLEX
When ICEBREAKER POP is frozen, place it on a hard surface, PUSH down on ICEBREAKER POP several times with your palm until you hear the ice CRACK.
2. OPEN THE LID
It is necessary that you open the lid before you pull the HANDLES. If this is not done, it is nearly impossible to expand the sides due to vacuum.
3. PULL THE HANDLES
Pull both HANDLES simultaneously to expand ICEBREAKER POP and release the ice cubes inside.
4. SHAKE AND SERVE
Place the LID back on and give ICEBREAKER POP a good shake to ensure that all ice cubes inside are separated and released from the ice TRAY.
How do I ensure that when I expand the POP (pull the straps), the ice cubes are still not connected and easily get out?
You must BREAK ice cubes apart before you expand. Place POP on table, place your hands on top of each other. Push with both hands in the center of the POP - two times on each side. Remove the LID and pull the straps. SHAKE the POP to loosen the ice.
It is very hard to expand the product (pull out the trays). What do I do wrong?
Make sure you have removed the LID to prevent vacuum inside before you expand it. Also, if there is a solid wall of ice below the LID, you might need to crack this to avoid a vacuum. Make sure you have done the BREAK, as explained in Q1.
How long time do I need to freeze the ICEBREAKER POP?
You need to freeze it for 6-7 hours, dependent on the freezer size and capacity. Most often, you can see if the ice is frozen by removing the LID to look.
Would a frozen ICEBREAKER POP leak in my bag/cooler when I bring it on Camping?
No! – as long as you keep the LID on, the ICEBREAKER will stay watertight and have no leaking
If the ICEBREAKER POP is leaking, make sure that the TRAYs (both sides) are snapped on properly, and the LID is pressed down properly.
How do I disassembly the ICEBREAKER POP for cleaning?
You can disassembly the product by un-snapping both sides (TRAYS). Pull the raised edges in the bottom (part of the feet) apart from the mainframe. Make sure to loosen the trays along all 4 sides. Do not try to pull off at only one side.
